1.      The consumer sector led U.S. stocks to fresh 2 1/2-year highs Tuesday after McDonald's reported strong January sales, putting the Dow Jones Industrial Average on track for its seventh-straight advance. Sentiments were also boosted as China's central bank said it will raise its benchmark deposit and lending rates by 0.25 percentage point

2.      Asian stock markets were mixed Wednesday, supported by strength in U.S. shares but weighed by news of an interest rate increase in China late Tuesday

3.      Indian market are expected to remain volatile during the day

4.      THE CEO of DB Realty was arrested by CBI on Tuesday night following the survey conducted by the IT department in the office premises of DB Realty.
